Integral Sound Immersion

Please wear warm, comfortable clothes and bring a mat and a blanket.

You are warmly invited to another special gathering at the Old Church in Stoke Newington, shortly after the first full moon of autumn.

This immersive sound journey will unfold through resonant tones, layered sonic textures and moments of silence. Imagine waves and washes of gongs moving alongside the gentle, evolving drone of an analogue synthesiser.

After a short guided relaxation, a meditative soundscape will be created using planetary gongs, synthesisers, Himalayan singing bowls, bells, conch shells, flutes and more.

The different vibrations, textures and harmonics of these instruments can support deep relaxation and invite a meditative or gently altered state of awareness. Time spent in this receptive state may encourage openness, self-awareness and creativity, while allowing the body and mind to settle and release stress.

The evening offers a space for self-reflection and shared listening, shaped through sound and silence. Everyone is welcome, and no previous experience of meditation is required. Come as you are and, if you wish, bring an intention to hold quietly within you throughout the journey. This event is limited to 30 people and registration is required. Everybody is welcome. You do not need to have any knowledge or experience with meditation. Please come in comfortable warm clothes, and bring a mat if you would like to lie down. Sitting is also available.
